I joined Principal People in April 2003 as a consultant and in early 2005 was promoted to Manager whilst continuing to recruit. I am a Full Member of the REC. I joined Principal People in June 2006 and they sponsored me to do both the REC Certificate and now the REC Diploma. I have previous recruitment experience which has allowed me to build on my skills and training. I work across all sectors and have placed candidates with charities, in the scientific sector, the leisure industry, colleges and facilities management companies to name a few.
Ross Brander- Consultant
Upon completing my BA in Fine Art & Media production, I spent several years working in the film industry before joining Principal People in June 2006. I now have just under two year’s experience in recruitment, where I have been focusing on permanent placements in construction, property and engineering. I hold Membership status with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, and am currently completing the REC diploma with the aim of eventually gaining fellowship.

I am in my 1st year with Principal People as a Recruitment Consultant. My background is in sales and I previously worked for a National Recruitment Agency. With a qualification at Certificate Level in Recruitment, I am planning to study for the REC Diploma. I enjoy dealing with people on a daily basis and receive real satisfaction from helping candidates find their ideal role. I have experience of working with clients in sectors such as Education, Local Government, Aerospace and Waste Management.

Dawn Barden - Resourcer and Training Desk
I joined Principal People in 2001 as a Recruitment Consultant running the care division. After returning from maternity leave in 2003, I became the Recruitment Resourcer for the Health & Safety Team, assisting the Consultants with all their administration needs. I have now taken on the running of the training desk providing a wide range of Health & Safety courses such as fire training and accident investigation to all industry sectors.
